The Silverpine Society
To know the darkness, and protect the world from it.
Current setting
The Society welcomes people seeking refuge and belonging. Its primary purpose is study and investigation: to understand the darkness well enough to protect the world. It is a difficult, often thankless ambition.
Cosmic horror and heroic resolve share the setting. Kindness, friendship, and the warmth of familiar company matter even when the threats are immense.
The Society is based mostly on Silverpine Isle. Professor Abram and other longstanding members, including Eloish, teach there. Anamir is the elusive headmaster.
